SciGuide is an electronic directory of foreign and Russian open access scientific resources on the Internet. The aim of the directory is to assist users to locate open access academic and scholarly content and to facilitate science communication for researchers and experts of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS). The directory is being developed jointly by the Branch and the Department of Collection Development and Acquisitions of the State Public Scientific Technical Library of SB RAS.

*GlobalEventList (  ► Elsevier's online directory of scientific and medical events from around the world.
*HighWire (  ► HighWire Press at Stanford University develops and maintains the Web versions of important journals in biomedicine and other disciplines. A list of journals with free full-text articles online is available.
*InterDok (  ► This database indexes published conference proceedings from 1994 to the present.
* Matmatch (  ► An online materials search platform that connects engineers and material suppliers through the most comprehensive materials database in the world and helps product designers and engineers to find, evaluate and source materials. With a database of thousands of materials, an intuitive search tool, and supplier listings, it changes the way product teams find materials for their projects.
*Nauchny Korrespondent (  ► A Russian site dedicated to publishing undergraduate research and theses.
* Nobel (  ► The official web site of the Nobel Prize. Here you will find information for every Nobel Prize since 1901, including the Nobel Laureates' biographies, Nobel Lectures, interviews, photos, articles, video clips, press releases, educational games and more.
*Open Data Hub (  ► A Russian catalog and repository of open data.
*PaperCrowd (  ► A free, community-driven, directory of academic conferences. Organisers use PaperCrowd to find new researchers for their event. Researchers use PaperCrowd to find new conferences they wish to attend.
*Scientific Sibirika (  ►Nature, History, Economy, Culture, Science of Siberia and the Far East. The bibliographic database includes Russian and foreign publications (monographs, articles from journals, magazines, newspapers), from the  collections of the State Public Scientific Technical Library of the Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS), libraries of the SB RAS, links to open access Internet resources. The database is updated on a monthly basis.
*Wolfram Demonstrations Project (  ► An open-code resource that uses dynamic computation to illuminate concepts in science, technology, mathematics, art, finance, and a remarkable range of other fields.
*World Digital Library (WDL) (  ► A project of the U.S. Library of Congress, carried out with the support of the UNESCO, and in cooperation with libraries, archives, museums, educational institutions, and international organizations from around the world. The WDL makes available on the Internet, free of charge and in multilingual format, significant primary materials from all countries and cultures.
