SciGuide is an electronic directory of foreign and Russian open access scientific resources on the Internet. The aim of the directory is to assist users to locate open access academic and scholarly content and to facilitate science communication for researchers and experts of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS). The directory is being developed jointly by the Branch and the Department of Collection Development and Acquisitions of the State Public Scientific Technical Library of SB RAS.

*Alkalinity Calculator (*The source of information about alkalinity and the procedures to measure it.
*American Mineralogist Crystal Structure Database*This site is an interface to a crystal structure database that includes every structure published in the American Mineralogist, The Canadian Mineralogist, European Journal of Mineralogy and Physics and Chemistry of Minerals, as well as selected datasets from other journals. The database is maintained under the care of the Mineralogical Society of America and the Mineralogical Association of Canada, and financed by the National Science Foundation.
*Biocatalysis-Biodegradation Database (*This database contains information on microbial biocatalytic reactions and biodegradation pathways for primarily xenobiotic, chemical compounds. The goal of the BBD is to provide information on microbial enzyme-catalyzed reactions that are important for biotechnology. University of Minnesota.
*CAS Source Index (CASSI) Search Tool (  ► A resource for scientists and library workers who need a reliable bibliography information. It enables one to determine or to confirm journal titles and abbreviations that are included in Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) Indexes from 1907.
*ChemDB Web Interface Index (*Provides access to about 5M commercially available small molecules. ChemDB is a chemical database that contains data coming from the electronic catalogs of over 150 chemical vendors as well as a limited number of publicly available datasets. The database includes search tools in support of systems biology and drug discovery projects. Data can be searched by structural similarity, includes several, names and annotations and users can also search virtual chemical space.
*ChemExper Chemical Directory (  ► A directory of chemical substances and their producers.
*Chemical Search Engine (*A database on pharma in biotech industry, scientific equipment etc. The site has a catalogue of books, journals, newsletters.
*Chemical Structure Lookup Service (*An address book for chemical structures. The idea is to aggregate several free chemistry databases.
*ChemSpider (*It is a free access service providing a structure centric community for chemists. Providing access to millions of chemical structures and integration to a multitude of other online services, ChemSpider is the richest single source of structure-based chemistry information.
*ChemSynthesis (  ► СhemSynthesis is a data base of chemical substances which contains also information on their synthesis methods and physical properties like density, melting point, boiling point etc.
*ChemView (  ► Please use this page to find information on health and security presented by EPA and controlled by Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). This information is a part of EPA attempt to increase the transparency of TSCA information presented by the agency. It is aimed for people that are interested to know more about chemicals produced or imported in USA.
*Crystallography Open Database (* Open-access collection of crystal structures of organic, inorganic, metal-organics compounds and minerals, excluding biopolymers.
*DSSTox (* Distributed Structure-Searchable Toxicity Database Network is a project of EPA's National Center for Computational Toxicology, helping to build a public data foundation for improved structure-activity and predictive toxicology capabilities. The DSSTox website provides a public forum for publishing downloadable, structure-searchable, standardized chemical structure files associated with toxicity data.
*EarthChem (  ► The website of EarthChem project that offers access to geochemical, petrological, and geochronological information including that by means of the EarthChem Library, the EarthChem Portal (PetDB, SedDB, GEOROC, NavDat, USGS, and GANSEKI), PetDB, NAVDAT, SedDB, and Geochron.
